Coventry Chinese School

Coventry Chinese School is a supplementary school that provides Chinese language courses to children from the age of 5 to 18.  We are a non-profit making organisation that has been established in Coventry since the 1970s, and receives support from the Minority Group Support Services of Coventry City Council, ContinYou, the Coventry Supplementary School Forum and other local businesses.

In 2010, Coventry Chinese School was accredited the Bronze Award in the Quality Framework for Supplementary Schools by ContinYou (National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education).

We provide courses for children in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Our courses follow the national curriculum and provide children of Chinese origin an opportunity to learn their native language, culture and traditions.  Non and mixed Chinese children are also welcome.  The School also provides an opportunity for the children to interact with other children to develop new friendship.

Classes are held at Ernesford Grange Community School, Princethorpe Way, Coventry, CV3 2QD.

We have exceeded our record intake this academic year, with a current intake of more than 100 pupils!
